He built the first online SME community in the UK as founding editor at Startups.co.uk before partnering with Shaa Wasmund MBE to found Smarta.com, establishing it into the UK’s #1 website for small business, helping more than 500,000 entrepreneurs every month.

Matt founded content marketing agency Curators Of Awesome, delivering content strategy and projects for Digital Business Academy, Santander and a number of high-profile entrepreneurs.

A published author and award-winning business journalist by trade, Matt has interviewed more than 2,000 entrepreneurs and collaborated with long-term business partner Shaa on her #1 bestselling books ‘Stop Talking, Start Doing’ and ‘Do Less, Get More’.

Together they now run The Freedom Collective, helping entrepreneurs build digital businesses to get the life and income they desire, delivering a range of in-person and digital online training programmes.
